The Lisle Police Pension Fund provides pension benefits to a members who retire or become disabled, or to a survivors (e.g., spouse) of a member who dies.
As a police officer of the Lisle Police Department, you are entitled to receive pension benefits through the Lisle Police Pension Fund. Theses benefits are provided upon retirement, disability or death. Your pension is funded by local taxes, active officer’s contributions (officers currently pay 9.91% of their base salary), and investment earnings.
Police pension benefits are established and maintained under 40 ILCS 5/3, also known as the Illinois Pension Code. Not every provision of pension law is reviewed on this web page.
